Spring 2024 Info for Participants
Hello Catawba River Winds!
It’s hard to believe we will begin rehearsals for our next concert cycle in less than a month! It’s been too long since we’ve made music together, and Connie and I are excited to work alongside you to bring a new set of great works for the wind band alive for our community. I’d also like to warmly welcome Ray Linkous, band director at Nation Ford, as a guest conductor at our upcoming concert!
As a reminder, our rehearsals (7-9 PM) for this concert are:

The concert is on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM. All rehearsals and the concert are at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, SC.

Trio from Act III of Der Rosenkavalier – Richard Strauss/Reynolds

How Sweet the Sound – Brian Balamages
Vanity Fair – Percy Fletcher/Karrick
Music is now posted (except for March of the Roughnecks) on our website under the password-protected area for Members for your review and study. I will post the march as soon as it comes in from the supplier. Due to the difficulty of some of the music programmed, please make every effort to prepare your part before our rehearsals begin on April 25 to ensure a productive rehearsal environment for all.
