A Note from The Conductor
When Connie and I founded the Catawba River Winds in the Spring of 2022, we were overwhelmed with joy and excitement from the interest, talent, and encouragement we received from our participants and those in our greater-York County community. Following our inaugural concert last May, several members of the band and I worked diligently to file the necessary documents to officially incorporate our organization and become a 501(c)3 non- profit organization. We are pleased to report that all of these filings were approved!
Contributions, no matter how large or small, help support the cost of insurance, music, facility fees, and administrative expenses of our band. Our community band model is not sustainable without our participant’s and community’s financial support. Please help us maintain momentum as we build a foundation for sustained success and growth.
